JAMMU, Jan 29: For her outstanding contribution to the society, Vandana Luthra, founder and mentor of VLCC has been conferred prestigious Padma Shri Award.
On receiving the award, Luthra said that a feeling of extreme bliss and ecstasy smacked her mind when she was named for this prestigious award and felt humbled to have been accorded with such a prestigious award
It is pertinent to mention here that Padma Shri Award is amongst the highest civilian honours in India and is bestowed to people who have rendered meritorious service in their respective fields.
Luthra now joins the league of most honoured Indians for their individual accomplishments and contributions to the country.
