The campaign, launched by the Department of Financial Services in coordination with the Reserve Bank of India and other financial-sector regulators, focuses on creating awareness on dormant bank deposits, matured insurance proceeds, mutual funds, dividends, unclaimed shares and other inactive financial instruments.
A statement said all four district-level camps witnessed active participation from senior officials of the RBI, banks, insurance companies, district administrations, SEBI, PFRDA, IEPFA and other institutions, ensuring coordinated service delivery and on-the-spot assistance to claimants.
At the Ramban camp, held at the Community Hall near Raghunath Temple, officials highlighted that Rs 6.15 crore remains unclaimed in 30,899 accounts in the district.
Cheques worth Rs 15.43 lakh were distributed to 13 beneficiaries after successful claim settlement.
