US warns Iran of ‘largest strike package yet’ today

WASHINGTON, Mar 19 : US Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, warned Iran of the ”LARGEST STRIKE PACKAGE YET today” (on Thursday), ”just like yesterday” and said Washington’s objectives remain what they were on day one.

”Again, today will be the LARGEST STRIKE PACKAGE YET-just like yesterday was…we are hunting, striking, delivering death and destruction from above,” he said.

Accusing Iran of having ”terrorised” the US and US interests for 47 years, he said their core industries are state-sponsored terrorism, proxy militias, underground networks, ballistic missiles, and a violent, ”messianic Islamist ideology chasing an apocalyptic endgame.”

A regime like that-refusing to abandon its nuclear ambitions-is not just a regional problem. It is a direct threat to America, to freedom, to civilisation, he said.

Hegseth said that to date, the US had struck over 7,000 targets across Iran and its military infrastructure. ”That is not incremental. That is an OVERWHELMING FORCE applied with precision,” he added.

”Our objectives remain exactly what they were on Day One… Destroy missiles, launchers, and Iran’s defence industrial base so they cannot rebuild. Destroy their Navy, and Iran never gets a nuclear weapon-our objectives from DAY ONE.”

On the US soldiers who have died in Iranian missile or drone attacks, Hegseth said ”We will finish this. We will honour their sacrifice. Their sacrifice only steels our commitment.”
