JAMMU, Jan 16: J&K is witnessing unprecedented developments and growth under the transformative leadership of PM Modi.
This was stated by Aseem Gupta, vice president, J&K BJP while discussing with party activists here today the significance of newly inaugurated ‘Sonamarg Tunnel’ by the PM.
He said that a robust push towards infrastructural development has put J&K on the fast track to modernization.
Mega projects like the construction of Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway and the Chenab Rail Bridge, symbolize a new dawn in connectivity, Gupta maintained adding: Improved road networks, modernized airports and enhanced rail connectivity has significantly boosted trade, tourism and ease of living.
He further pointed out that J&K has emerged as a thriving hub for industrial investments, generating employment opportunities and revitalizing the local economy.
Tourism, the backbone of J&K economy, is experiencing a renaissance and the enhanced security measures and development focused policies have brought peace and stability to the region, the BJP leader claimed.
He also said that government’s efforts to integrate J&K into national mainstream have strengthened the spirit of unity and harmony.
