JAMMU, June 21: An unidentified man drowned today in River Tawi near Panjtirthi.
According to a police official, an unknown man of age about 30-35 years, who was mentally unstable and used to roam in Panjtirthi area, drowned into River Tawi near Balram Temple, Panjtirthi.
He said the body was shifted to mortuary room of GMC Jammu for identification/postmortem while inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC initiated by police station Panjtirthi.
