JAMMU, Nov 18: Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Thaawar Chand Gehlot has awarded J&K SC/ST/BCs Development Corporation in annual conference of national level Corporations in New Delhi.
The Corporation was awarded for its achievements in top best performing State Corporations at the national level.
The cash reward, citation and trophy for the Corporation was received by Corporation’s Managing Director YP Suman.
Mr Gehlot appreciated achievements of the Corporation for the year 2013-14.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Suman informed that efforts of the management of the Corporation have been expedited to get it registered into the list of top best performing State Corporations at the national level. He assured the Union Minister that management of the Corporation will make all possible efforts to provide maximum benefits of the welfare schemes to the target group people of Jammu and Kashmir.
