SAMBA, Feb 28: An unidentified woman was found dead on the Gurha Slathia-Uttarbehani road in Vijaypur tehsil of Samba district today.
The body of the woman, aged 60-62, was noticed by some passerby who informed the police, police sources said.
Accordingly, they said, a team of police shifted the body to the District Hospital Samba for post-mortem and identification purposes.
Police have also initiated inquest proceedings to ascertain the reasons behind the death of the woman.
