JAMMU, Mar 23: An unidentified individual died after falling from Bandra Express train under the jurisdiction of Police Post GRP Bari Brahamana, officials said.
They said the incident occurred at approximately 3:30 PM on March 19, 2026, within the jurisdiction of the GRP Bari-Brahmana.
Officials said the victim, believed to be around 30 years old, fell from the moving Bandra Express (UP) near Km 88.
The impact was fatal, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene, they said.
Following the incident, they said, the body was moved to the Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for post-mortem and identification purposes.
The Government Railway Police have described the deceased as being approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with a wheatish complexion. At the time of the accident, he was wearing a dark blue shirt paired with grey trousers.
