JAMMU, Sept 29: The dead body of an unidentified man of age about 30-35 years was recovered today from Talab Tillo area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the dead body of a man appears to be a rag picker was spotted this afternoon by some passersby under a culvert in the jurisdiction of police post Talab Tillo.
He said on getting information a police team from police post Talab Tillo led by Incharge, SI Rahul Mahajan, reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification and post mortem.
The spokesman said that the deceased man, who appears to be non-local, is 5 feet in height and is wearing only a trouser. “A case in this connection was registered at concerned police station, where police has started inquest proceedings under section 174CrPc”, he added.
