JAMMU, July 2: An unidentified cop was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Qasim Nagar area here today.
A body of an unidentified man, donning a police uniform, who is, aged around 35 years, has been recovered from Qasim Nagar area, a police official said.
According to him, the body has been shifted to the mortuary of the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for conducting the post-mortem examination and identification purposes.
Meanwhile, police have initiated inquest proceedings to further probe into the matter.
