JAMMU, June 28: The dead body of an unidentified man was recovered today from a canal in Belicharana area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the decomposed dead body of a male aged about 35 years was found this evening from a canal in Belicharana area.
On getting information, police immediately reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, for identification and post mortem.
A case in this regard has been registered at concerned police station, where police has started inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC.
