JAMMU, Feb 26: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration against the government and expressed resentment against the increase in unemployment in J&K allegedly after the abrogation of Article 370.
The protest was led by MSJK president, Sunil Dimple and he demanded restoration of Statehood to J&K.
Addressing the protesters Sunil Dimple claimed that Union Home Ministry is discriminating with J&K as salaries of Ladakh daily wagers have been increased ignoring those of J&K.
He urged J&K Chief Minister to enhance the salaries of J&K employees as has been done in Ladakh Union Territory.
Dimple also demanded passage of a Bill in the Assembly to ban the sale of liquor in J&K and restart the Darbar Move practise from April 2025.
Vikas, Deepak, Imteaz, Mohinder, Kamran, Abdul Quoom, Javed, Ashiq Hussain, Ghulam Mehadi, Asgar Ali, Mohd Ali, Gulam Mohiudin and others were also present in the protest.
