JAMMU, June 20: BJP National General Secretary and J&K Prabhari Tarun Chugh today said that under Modi’s leadership, Jammu & Kashmir has moved from instability to integration and from neglect to nation-building.
“In the last 11 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not merely governed, he has reshaped the destiny of India. From the remotest border villages to bustling metros, every citizen today feels the pulse of development, dignity and empowerment,” he said, while addressing a programme organised as part of the BJP’s nationwide campaign ‘Viksit Bharat Ka Amritkaal Sewa, Sushasan, Gareeb Kalyan Ke 11 Saal’, here at Dharp, Jeevan Nagar under Jammu South District.
Claiming that BJP stands as a symbol of transparent governance, fearless leadership, and unwavering service to the poor and the marginalised, Chugh said this is not just governance, it is movement of national resurgence.
“The ‘Viksit Bharat Ka Amritkaal’ campaign is not about celebration, it is about renewed commitment-to the farmers, youth, women and every last person in the queue. We are here to connect directly with the people, to listen, to serve, and to ensure that Modi’s vision of a developed, strong, and inclusive India becomes a ground reality in every home of Jammu & Kashmir,” he said.
BJP national secretary and MLA R S Pura, Dr Narinder Singh, while interacting with the locals, said that the Modi Government has delivered on its promise of inclusive development. Jammu & Kashmir has directly benefited from multiple central welfare schemes, he stressed.
MLA Ramgarh, Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal emphasized the revolutionary changes in healthcare, infrastructure, and social welfare.
Ch Vikram Randhawa reiterated the commitment of BJP workers to act as a bridge between the Government and the people. Naresh Singh Jasrotia reiterated the BJP’s resolve to keep working for the holistic development of Jammu South.
Baldev Singh Billawaria and Ayodhya Gupta also spoke on the occasion. The event saw active participation from local residents, beneficiaries of Government schemes, and party workers.
