JAMMU, Nov 21: A deputation of All J&K Un-regularised Electric Engineers Forum led by its Convener, Suraj Gupta here today met Principal Secretary PDD with the demand of regularisation of services of those who have rendered their services at higher posts like CE, SE and XEN but were not regularised beyond AE and AEE.
The deputation informed the Principal Secretary that this thing has badly affected the pension benefits of these engineers.
Deputation members said that it was in the year 2001 that the engineers were regularised as AE and AEE while after that in the year 2010 a few of them were regularised as XEN and after that nothing moved forward.
A handout stated that the Principal Secretary assured the deputation that the issue of regularisation of the services of the engineers shall be taken up on top priority.
