UDHAMPUR, May 19: Newly elected president of the Udhampur Hotel Bar and Restaurant Association, Vikram Singh Slathia today nominated his team and executive body members.
S Ranbir Singh was nominated as the vice-president, Sanjeev Sharma as general secretary, Sham Lal as secretary, Satinder Sharma treasurer and Chander Shekhar as press secretary.
Subash Gupta, Ashok Gupta, S Ravinder Singh, Ashok Dogra, Sunil Badyal, Sumit Magotra, Kuldeep Raina, Gopal Singh, Sanjay Vaid, Chander Singh and Vijay Kumar were nominated as the executive body members.
After nomination of the office bearers and executive body members, the Association president Vikram Singh Slathia assured that his team would work with dedication and honesty to promote hospitality and tourism sector in Udhampur district, establishment of sub-base camp at Udhampur for the Amarnath pilgrims and a permanent Tourism Officer there.
Slathia also urged all the hoteliers to enroll themselves with the Tourism Department to avail various benefits under the sector.
