UDHAMPUR, May 23: Protesting against the curtailment of summer vacation, District Bar Association Udhampur and Bar Associations of Ramnagar, Majalta and Chenani, observed one-day token strike.
Decision in this regard was taken during a meeting of the Bar Association, held under the chairmanship of Advocate Surinder Khajuria, president. The meet strongly criticized the alleged discriminatory approach towards the subordinate institutions and demanded that the order regarding curtailment of summer vacations be revoked. The earlier prevalent system of observation of Summer holidays for 15 days be restored, they demanded.
