UBPA elects new working committee

JAMMU, July 27: The new working committee of UCO Bank Pensioners Association (UBPA) was elected here during the third biennial conference held here today.
The conference was conducted under the chairmanship of Santosh Kumar and Paras Gupta.
During the proceedings, a new set of office bearers was unanimously elected to lead the association for the upcoming term.
Among the newly elected office bearers, Bharat Bhushan Gupta was elected as the president of UBPA. Sham Lal Gupta as senior vice president, Zahoor Ahmed Beig and Gurmeet Kour as vice presidents, Padam Singh Choudhary as general secretary, Kundan Lal Sharma as organising secretary, Rajeev Bhardwaj and Kuldeep Raina as deputy general secretaries, Majid Khan as assistant general secretary, Gurdyal Thappa as treasurer and Subhash Bhagat was elected as assistant treasurer.
In addition to the executive team, the following senior members were selected to honorary positions in recognition of their continued service and guidance including, Madan Gopal Padha as patron, Bharat Bhushan Rattanpal and V K Thappa as the advisors of association.
The newly elected president, Bharat Bhushan Gupta in his address expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and reiterated the association’s commitment to working for the welfare of retired UCO Bank employees.
The conference concluded with a vote of thanks and a resolve to further strengthen the unity and welfare initiatives of the association.
