JAMMU, July 3: Two youth have been arrested in connection with an attack on a police party in Bagh-e-Bahu area, on June 15.
“Manpreet Singh (30) of Gurdaspur, Punjab, and Mohammad Munir (25) of Nagrota, Jammu, were arrested recently for attacking a police naka party at Bagh-e-Bahu area on June 15, wherein one Selection grade Constable Raman Kumar, sustained injuries,” a police official said.
According to him, Manpreet Singh was arrested from Sainik Colony area around 10 days after the attack and Mohammad Munir was arrested three days back from Narwal area.”Both were presented in the court today, where police were granted their remand for further investigation into the matter,” he said.
