JAMMU, Jan 17: Two women allegedly tried to commit suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at their residences.
As per reports, middle aged woman identified as Tara Devi, wife of Lekh Raj of Ghagwal allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her home.
Finding her unconscious, family members shifted her to nearby hospital, from where she was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where her condition was stated to be out of danger, when last reports came in.
A case has been registered at Ghagwal police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
In another incident, 65-year-old Chanchala Devi, wife of Anchal Singh of Uttervani Purmandal, allegedly tried to end her life by consuming some poisonous stuff at her residence.
Family members shifted her to nearby hospital, from where she was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where she was responding to the treatment, when last reports poured in.
A case has been registered at Purmandal police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
