UDHAMPUR, Oct 6: In separate incidents, two persons committed suicide by hanging under mysterious circumstances at Udhampur and Ramnagar.
Cause of provocation in both the cases could not be ascertained while Police are investigating the reasons.
According to the police report, Mast Ram (29), son of Amru, resident of village Incha, Tehsil Ramnagar, was found hanging from a ceiling fan hook in his house.
On being informed by the family members, Ramnagar police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar for the postmortem. A case has been registered in this connection and further investigation is going on.
In separate hanging case in Udhampur, Ward number 20, Rinku (20) son of Kaku Ram, resident of Siyal Sallan, was found hanging from ceiling fan hook in his house under mysterious circumstances.
Family members called the Udhampur Police Station and later Police shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the post-mortem.
