SAMBA, Aug 22: In drive against criminals launched under the overall supervision of SSP Samba, Dr. Abhishek Mahajan, cops here today arrested two notorious criminals wanted in a case registered at Police Station Ramgarh.
A police team from Police Station (PS) Ramgarh headed by SHO Inspector, Asha Nand under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur, Priyanka Kumari arrested the criminals-Raman Kumar son of Bodh Raj resident of Kathar, Tehsil Arnia, Jammu and Pankaj Kumar @ Panku son of Tara Chand resident of Shehzadpur, Tehsil Ramgarh, Samba.
From these criminals police recovered one pistol, one magazine, 5 live rounds, one Toka and seized an Alto Car bearing No. JK21-4126 from them.
Both the criminals were involved in a number of cases registered at different Police Stations of District Samba and Kathua.
Raman Kumar is a kingpin of inter-district criminal gang involved in many other cases registered against him at PS Ramgarh, Bari Brahmana, Arnia and Bisnah.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
