MENDHAR, Apr 19: The police arrested two youth and recovered about 50 gms of narcotic substance (Heroin) from their possession in Mendhar area of district Poonch today.
Official sources said that the policy party from Mendhar town during naka intercepted two youth and during their frisking, recovered consignment of heroin wrapped in a plastic packet along with Rs 65000 cash from them.
Identified as Parvaiz Ahmed, Mohd Shabir, resident of Chak Banola and Rafaqat Hussain, son of Barkat Hussain, resident of Dharana in Mendhar, both were arrested.
In this regard a case – FIR No. 96/2021 dated 19/04/2021 u/s 8/21/22/27 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Mendhar against the accused persons. Further investigation was in progress.
