Two killed in truck mishap

RAMBAN, Jan 30: Two persons were killed and another was injured, when the truck they were traveling in skidded off the road and plunged into the gorge at Kelamorh.
The ill-fated truck bearing registration number JKO2X-1697 was on its way to Srinagar from Jammu, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it plunged into the gorge at Kelamorh.
On getting information, CRPF personnel from 160 Battalion stationed near Kelamorh rushed to the spot and started rescue operation.
All victims were shifted to District Hospital Ramban, where doctors declared driver Mohd Sadiq, son of Abdul Gani of District Reasi and Liaquat Ali, son of Bulla of Bishnah, Jammu as brought dead.
The condition of the injured identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Gani of Bishnah, Jammu was stated to be out of danger, when last reports came in.
A case has been registered at Ramban police station and investigation started.
