SRINAGAR, Sep 10: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday ordered the promotion of two Joint Directors of the J&K Economics and Statistics (Gazetted) Service as Directors (Planning) in the special scale of Level-13 (123100–215900) with immediate effect.
According to the order issued by the Planning, Development & Monitoring Department, the officers elevated are Ashiq Hussain Bhat and Subash Chander.
The order, however, stated that the promotions are subject to the outcome of writ petitions, if any, pending before any court of law. The officers will continue to work at their present places of posting against the available post of Director (Planning). (KNC)
