JAMMU, Dec 15: Two persons were injured in the collision of a truck and a car in Akhnoor town here today.
A car (JK20B-7419) on way Rajouri from Jammu collided head on with a truck from the opposite direction at Thati Village near Chenab River, a police official said.
He said the collision was so potent that the car overturned on the road, resulting in injuries to two persons identified as Krishna Devi (40) wife of Sukhi Ram of Rajouri and Abdul Aziz Wani (60) son of Mohammad Anwar of Rajouri.
Both the injured were taken to Government Medical College Jammu after preliminary treatment at SDH Akhnoor, he said.
According to the police official, a case under the relevant sections of the law has been registered at Police Station Akhnoor and further investigation taken up.
