JAMMU, Dec 2: Two persons including a follower of J&K Police was injured in separate road mishaps in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, Puran Chand (35) son of Dharam Chand of Karwanda area of city outskirts, who is serving as a follower in J&K Police and posted at DPL Jammu was injured last evening when his bike got slipped in Nardani area falling within the limits of police post Chinore. The injured man was shifted to Primary Health Centre, Bhalwal for treatment but later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
In Jhiri area falling under the jurisdiction of police station Kanachak, a bike got slipped today resulting into injuries to its rider, who has been identified as Sonu (23), a resident of Patna (Bihar), at present living in Jhiri. The injured youth was taken to GMCH Jammu for treatment.
In both cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
