JAMMU, Jan 9: Two persons were injured in a dispute over ‘sand’ in Kattal Battal area, falling under the jurisdiction of Nagrota police station.
As per police sources, two persons identified as Asha Ram of Kattal Battal and Rajeshwer Singh, son of Rashpal Singh of Pargalta entered into verbal dual over ‘sand’ dispute.
Asha Ram stabbed Rajeshwar Singh and in turn, latter opened fire at Asha Ram, which hit him on right hand.
Duo were rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where their condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
The gun has been seized and a case has been registered at Nagrota police station and investigation started.
