UDHAMPUR, Mar 16: Two houses at Tikkri and an old building at Pachayala Chowk, Udhampur were completely gutted in fire incidents, here today.
Even though there was no loss of life, the houses were completely gutted in the fire that broke out in the morning.
The houses belong to Karan Singh and Kuldeep Singh at Ladyal of Panchayat Jadsarkot in Block Tikkri. All the family members managed to come out safely with the help of locals when fire broke out.
The exact cause of fire could not be ascertained while property completely was lost in the incident. The police have taken cognizance of the matter.
Meanwhile another fire incident took place in an old building located at Pachayala Chowk in Udhampur. On being informed by some locals, police rushed to the spot with fire extinguishing team and controlled the blazes. However, it took more than three hours to extinguish the fire.
