JAMMU, Feb 9: Two alleged drug peddlers were arrested with 47.70 grams of heroin-like substance in Miran Sahib area here today.
During naka checking, two individuals, identified as Gurpreet Singh of Simbal Camp, Miran Sahib, and Abhi Jangral of Kotli Mian Fateh, Miran Sahib, were arrested with 5.70 grams and 42 grams of heroin-like substance, a police official said.
According to him, the duo has been booked in case FIR number 19/2026 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and further investigation taken up.
Pertinently, the arrests and seizures were made by a team of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO concerned, Inspector Jatinder Singh under the supervision of SP Headquarters IH Rather.
