JAMMU, Oct 19: Two drug peddlers along with 5.5 grams of heroin were nabbed today by Police Station Miran Sahib.
“During naka checking at Dak Banglow Marallian, a team of Police Station Miran Sahib rounded up two suspects on a vehicle bearing registration number JK02DA-4808 and during search, 5.5 grams of heroin was recovered from their possession,” a police spokesman said.
He said the accused identified as Rakesh Kumar alias Bunty son of Amarnath of Marallian (RS Pura) and Chirag Atri alias Chetan son of Vaid Ram of Chack Jaralan (Bishnah) were arrested and the recovered heroin seized.
“In this regard, a case FIR number 134/2022 U/S 8/21/22/29/60 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Miran Sahib,” the spokesman said, adding, further investigation of the case was going on.
