Two held with 900 ltr diesel in Khour

JAMMU, June 4: Khour police today recovered 900 liters of diesel from two persons in Jogwan area falling under its jurisdiction.
Police sources said that a team of border police post Jogwan while patrolling in the area of Jogwan Battal received information that a person namely Mulk Raj son of Sansar Chand, resident of Jogwan were Madan Lal son of Asha Ram, resident of Seri Plai Jogwan are dumping diesel for selling it to earn undue profit in Battal Seri Plai area.
“Acting swiftly, the police team raided the spot and recovered 300 litres of diesel from the possession Mulkh Raj and 600 litres from the possession of Madan Lal,” they said, adding, a case FIR Number 34/2021 under Section 3/7 EC Act stands registered in this connection at Police Station Khour and further investigation started.
