SAMBA, June 30: Two drug peddlers were arrested with 20 grams of heroin-like-substance from Ramgarh area here today.
Acting on a tip off, a party of police station Ramgarh intercepted a motorcycle (JK21H-1973) for checking, a police official said.
On search of the bike rider and his pillion, he said, 20 grams of heroin-like-substance was recovered.
Accordingly, the duo identified as Talib Husain of Chak Bagla, Ramgarh, and Mom Hussain of Rakh Barotian, Vijaypur were arrested and booked in case FIR number 46/2025 under sections 8/21/22/25/29 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Ramgarh and further investigation started, added the police official. The arrests were made under the overall supervision of SSP Samba Virinder Manhas.
