SAMBA, June 14: Two drug peddlers were arrested with 1.638 kilograms of Ganja-like-substance in Bari Brahamana area here today.
Acting on specific information received through reliable sources, a party of police station Bari Brahamana raised a special naka at Railway crossing area near Bari Brahamana and intercepted two persons moving in suspicious circumstances, a police official said.
On checking them, 1.638 kilograms of Ganja-like-substance was recovered, he said.
Accordingly, the police official said that the accused identified as Ramparvesh Mandal of Gaya, Bihar, and Nandan Kumar of Khagaria, Bihar, were arrested and booked in case FIR number 83/2025 under sections 8/20/29 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bari Brahamana and further investigation started.
