JAMMU, May 17: Sidhra Police arrested two drug peddlers along with heroin.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Sidhra led by SI Shakeel Ahmed under the supervision of SHO Nagrota Inspector Mohammad Shoket and SDPO Nagrota Parupkar Singh laid a naka and intercepted a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK02BV-7899.
During checking, police team recovered 3.40 grams heroin from the possession of the driver and his associate and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Romesh Kumar, son of Shanker Dass of village Dansal and Jatinder Singh, son of Kashmir Singh of Fateh Abad Taran Taran Punjab.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
