JAMMU, Nov 13: RS Pura Police arrested two drug peddler and recovered heroin from their possession.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station RS Pura led by ASI Devi Ditta during patrolling in Jinder Melu area intercepted a scooty bearing registration number JK02CQ-9112.
During checking, police team recovered 13 grams of heroin from the possession of two persons riding on the vehicle and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Narinder Pal alias Bulla, son of Kaka Ram of Puro Bana Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu and Nanak Chand, son of Madan Lal of Kotli Muffi Tehsil Suchetgarh, District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 202/2022 under section 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station RS Pura and investigation started.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SHO RS Pura Inspector Pawan Kumar, SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta.
