KATRA, Dec 16: Police today apprehended two drug peddlers at PCP Nomain, during routine checking and recovered heroin from their possession.
The accused have been identified as Gopal Singh, son of Govind Ram of Purana Daroor, Katra, and Rabin Singh son of Gian Singh of Loor Meer, Pancheri, Udhampur. During the checking, 3.08 grams of heroin was recovered from their possession.
Accordingly, a case FIR No. 339/2025 under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act has been registered in this connection at Police Station Katra and further investigation is underway.
