JAMMU, Aug 16: Altogether two people have drowned in River Basantar along the International Border in Samba district.
“Two persons drowned last evening in River Basantar in Samba while they were crossing it,” police sources here today said.
They said one of the bodies identified as Pritam Singh, 34, son of Kanth Ram, Chamba, HP was recovered while search was on to trace Vijay Singh, son of Shamsher Singh.
