JAMMU, July 21: At least two persons died in separate road accidents in Jammu District, police said today.
They said one Baldev Raj (70) son of Chajju Ram of Marh was hit by an unknown vehicle at Marh Chowk area on July 13, 2023, resulting in injuries to the septuagenarian.
He was taken to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, where he breathed his last today around 3:20 pm, police said.
In another accident at Chak Murar area of Bishnah, police said one Krishna (35) son of Jagdish Ram of Bihar at present Bari Brahmana suffered injuries on July 16, 2023.
“He also succumbed to his wounds around 1:40 pm today at GMC Jammu,” said police.
While bodies of the deceased have been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortems cases under relevant sections of the law already stood registered at Police Station Domana and Police Station Bishnah under relevant sections of the law and further investigation taken up.
