POONCH, Apr 6: Two persons were killed while two others seriously injured, when a car met with an accident, on Surankote-Draba-Buffliaz road, near Fazalabad bridge today.

Official sources said that an Alto (Maruti) car, bearing registration number JK11A-2008 rolled down into a Nalla from the road in which husband-wife among four persons were seriously injured. The locals and police shifted all the injured to Sub District Hospital, Surankote for treatment.
Block Medical Officer Surnakote, Dr Yousuf said that three injured were in critical condition while fourth was little better as compared to other three. He said all the injured were shifted to GMC Rajouri after initial treatment here but one among them, succumbs to injuries near Dera Galli.
The deceased was identified Zaffar Javid (62), son of Mohd Abdullah, resident of Thannamandi.
Three others were under treatment in Rajouri but two among them were further referred to Jammu.
Reports said that among the two seriously injured, one of them also succumbed to injuries late this evening. He was later identified as Shabir Ahmed (55), son of Khazir Din, resident of Bunikhait near Bufliaz. His body was being shifted to Surankote hospital for postmortem.
The injured are- Gulshan Shahien (52), wife of Zaffar Javid, resident of Thanna Mandi and Amjad (45), son of Mohd Aslam, resident of Behramgala in Surnakote. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
