Two-day seminar concludes at BGSBU

RAJOURI, Apr 7: A two-day seminar organized on “Advances in Electric Engineering” by the Department of Electrical & Renewable Energy Engineering, School of Engineering & Technology (SET), Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Rajouri, concluded today.
Prof Javed Musarrat, Vice Chancellor, BGSBU was the chief patron of the seminar whereas Prof Mohammed Asger, Dean, SET, was the patron and also the chief guest of the seminar.
The Department had invited Dr Parveen Luhana, Department of Physics & Electronics, University of Jammu (JU) as key note speaker. The event was attended by all the students and faculty from within the department and other departments.
During the event, series of lectures were delivered by different resource person from both within and outside the University. Some of the important topics covered during the Seminar were “Idiot Brain”, “PIC Controllers”, “Nanowires” and “Frequency linked Tariff System”.
Speaking on the valedictory function, Prof Asger emphasized on the importance of these seminars and added that as the technology is advancing in leaps and bounds it becomes all the more important to bring in experts and expose our students with the latest happenings in the world of science & technology.
