JAMMU, June 28: Two men today made abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a man namely Rakesh (45) son of Sain Dass, a resident of Rehari Colony, today consumed some poisonous substance at his residence following he was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
Similarly, one Madan Lal (46) son of Tola Ram, a resident of RS Pura also consumed some poisonous substance at his residence. He was also shifted to GMCH by the family members.
The condition of both the persons was stated to be stable till the last reports came in. In both cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
