JAMMU, Aug 29: Two youths today made abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substances at their respective residences in city and its outskirts.
According to police sources, a 21-year-old girl identified as Rakhi daughter of Rajan, resident Dogra Hall, today consumed some poisonous substance at her home following which she was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for treatment.
Similarly, one Jaspal Singh (25) son of Ajit Singh, resident of Govindpur (Chattha) also consumed some poisonous substance at his residence. He was immediately shifted to GMCH by the family members.
The condition of both the youths was stated to be stable till the last reports came in. In both cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
