JAMMU, Apr 21: Two persons allegedly tried to end their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences today.
As per reports, Dev Raj (23), son of Jagdish, resident of village Treva, Arnia tried to end his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his home.
Finding him unconscious, family members rushed him to nearby hospital and was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he was responding to the treatment, when last reports came in.
Meanwhile, 35-years-old Gulzar Singh, son of Malla Singh, a resident of district Kathua made an abortive attempt to end his life by consuming some poisonous stuff at his residence.
He was rushed to District Hospital Kathua from where he was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where his condition was stated to be stable, when last reports poured in.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at concerned police station and investigation started to ascertain the reasons behind such extreme steps.
