JAMMU, Aug 8: Domana Police arrested two persons and recovered 43 banned Chinese thread rolls.
As per official sources, a team from Police Station Domana led by SHO Inspector Tilak Raj Sharma laid a naka and intercepted a car bearing registration number JK02BT-5453.
During checking, the police team recovered 43 banned Chinese thread rolls from the vehicle and arrested two persons, who were identified as Vivek Singh, son of Mohan Singh and Vishal Singh, son of Vikram Singh, both residents of Pouni Chak District Jammu. The driver of the car identified as Deepak Kumar of Pouni Chak managed to escape from the spot.
The arrest was made in violation of District Magistrate Jammu’ order regarding sale and purchase of Chinese thread rolls.
A case FIR Number 279/2022 under section 188 IPC has been registered in this connection at Police Station Domana and investigation initiated.
