JAMMU, Apr 11: Bahu Fort police arrested two persons along with one kilogram of charas from Transport Nagar, Narwal.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bahu Fort police station intercepted two persons near Transport Nagar, Narwal.
During checking, police recovered one kilogram charas from their possession and arrested them on the spot.
The accused have been identified as Jalal Din, son of Noor Din and Fayaz Ahmed, son of Mohammad Abdullah, both residents of Shangus, district Anantnag, Kashmir.
A case under FIR Number 65/16 under Section 8/20/29 NDPS Act has been registered against them at police station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Kuldeep Khajuria assisted by Incharge Narwal police post SI Mehmood Khan made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Chandan Kohli and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
