RAMBAN, July 3: Two Amarnath pilgrims were injured in a road accident inside Tunnel T3 of the Khooni Nallah stretch on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway today.
Police said a Brezza car (registration number RJ14NC-5296) collided with a Matador (JK19-4524) inside the tunnel, resulting in injuries to two tourists.
The injured-Karthik Sharma (27), son of Govind, from Mansoor, Rajasthan, and Navin Kumar (35), son of Manpal, from Jaipur, Rajasthan-were initially taken to PHC Ramsu and later referred to Sub-District Hospital Banihal for specialized treatment.
Doctors stated their condition is stable and out of danger. Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
