JAMMU, Apr 21: In a significant breakthrough, two accused involved in a murder case registered at Police Station Pataudi, Gurugram, Haryana, were apprehended from a hotel in Jammu following a joint operation conducted by Jammu Police and Crime Branch Pataudi.
As per official sources, an alert was received through the Police Control Room (PCR) Jammu regarding the presence of two individuals wanted in connection with FIR Number 108/2025 under sections 103(1), 3(5), 61 BNS, and 25(1)(b) of the Arms Act. The case pertains to a serious offence reported at Pataudi Police Station, Gurugram, Haryana.
The accused have been identified as Ritik (23), son of Ravi, resident of Jatuali, tehsil Pataudi and Mohit (24), son of Sita Ram, resident of Jatuali, tehsil Pataudi, district Gurugram.
Acting promptly on the input, a police team from Police Post Hari Market (Jammu), under the close supervision of SDPO City North and SP City North Jammu, collaborated with a team from Crime Branch Pataudi, Haryana. The joint police parties conducted coordinated raids on multiple hotels within the jurisdiction of Police Post Hari Market.
The operation culminated in the successful arrest of both accused individuals from one of the hotels where they had been hiding. Following their arrest, the duo was handed over to the Haryana Police for further legal proceedings in accordance with the law.
