JAMMU, Dec 26: Jammu and Kashmir Police in Gangyal today arrested two individuals who were absconding and deliberately avoiding several Non-Bailable Warrants (NBWs) issued by the courts.
Police said Ashwani Kumar alias Sunny of Bishnah, Jammu, and Talvinder Singh of Camp Gole Gujral, Mohalla Sach Khand, at present Digiana Camp, had been evading arrest for a long time.
Acting on specific information and after sustained surveillance, the accused were arrested by a team of Police Station Gangyal led by SHO concerned, they said.
After their arrest, the accused were produced before the court, which, after completing legal formalities, remanded them to judicial custody.
