JAMMU, Sept 12: Jammu and Kashmir Police in Khour area today claimed they have arrested two individuals who were evading their arrests in a case registered two years back.
Rahil Khan of Maraliyan, Miran Sahib, Jammu, and Mushtaq Ali of Kanachak, Jammu, were wanted for their involvement in case FIR number 107/2023 registered under Sections 353, 332, 188, 429, 147, 201 IPC, 11 PCA Act, and 4/25 Arms Act at Police Station Khour, a police official said.
An arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC was also issued against the duo by the court of JMIC Akhnoor, he said.
The arrest warrant was executed today with the arrest of the duo by a team of Police Post Pallanwala led by the incharge Police Post under the supervision of SHO Khour, the police official further said.
According to him, the accused are currently lodged in Police Post Pallanwala and will be produced before the court tomorrow.
