JAMMU, Mar 15: Bahu Fort Police has claimed to have arrested two absconders who were evading their arrests over last one decade.
On specific information regarding two absconders namely Manzoor Ahmed son of Ghulam Rasool of Gujjar Nagar who was evading his arrest since 12 years in a case FIR Number 222/2010 U/S 341/323 RPC and Babu Ram son of Vijay Ram of Kanthan Mahan (Reasi), who was evading his arrest since 23 years in a case FIR Number 234 /1996 U/S 379 RPC, special police teams of Police Station Bahu Fort were constituted to nab them
On this special police teams of PS Bahu Fort were constituted. The team led by SHO Police Station Bahu Fort Inspector Nayat Ali under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari did strenuous efforts and finally arrested both the accused.
It is pertinent to mention that a warrant u/s 512 CrPC was issued against the absconder namely Manzoor Ahmed by the Court of Sub Registrar JM Jammu on 28.10.2010 and a warrant u/s 512 CrPC was issued against the absconder namely Babu Ram by the Court of City Judge Jammu on 02.11.1999.
Both the absconders shall be produced before the Court for further proceedings.
